You know what, there are thousands of people wrote about this.. Well then I read couple of them, and start to believe that it might work to help me to loose some weight..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You might be wondering, &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;How does it work??&lt;/span&gt; and &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;How should I do it??&lt;/span&gt;  ... Well, here I write what I found from the internet...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);font-size:130%;" &gt; &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;u&gt;How can "chewing slowly" help our DIET??&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Normally it would take about &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;20 minutes&lt;/span&gt; until our brain realise that we are full. If we eat too quickly, we filled our stomach with food and would stop eating until we are really full.. &lt;span style="color: rgb(153, 0, 0);"&gt;And at the end we feel sorry for eating too much&lt;/span&gt;.. right??&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Most of the food right now are full of &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(204, 102, 0);"&gt;MSG(Monosodium Glutamate)&lt;/span&gt;, it is some kind of food-chemical that can make any food more tastier.. And this can also make us to eat more and more, especially the food at the restaurants. I am 100% sure all of them use MSG in their meal.. Not to forget too much MSG in our body is also not GOD for us..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By eating slowly, we let more saliva created in our mouth. Saliva can help our stomach to take the most amount of nutrients from the food that we eat... So, &lt;span style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0);"&gt;we are not letting the food to turn fast into FAT..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(204, 0, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;How sould we do it??&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In our time NOW, everything has to be fast, fast-train, fast-plane, fast-food, and some other fast things.. Seat down at the table every time you eat.. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&gt;&gt; It is alot harder to chew slowly  if you are standing..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;2. Drink water before you eat..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&gt;&gt; It is alot easier to chew if your mouth already in prepare or wet..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;3. Take a small bite everytime and chew thoroughly...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&gt;&gt; small bites and slowly chewing.. great combination, you would in half an hour full and not eating too much of food..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;4. Put your fork or your spoon down after you take your bite..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&gt;&gt; By doing this, you tell yourself to chew thoroughly everytime you take your bite..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;5. Keep yourself busy everytime you chew..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&gt;&gt; Maybe you can talk with your neighbour at the table or your family or the people on the table during meals.. That can make your forget about chewing..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&gt;&gt; &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Eating by yourself?&lt;/span&gt; Suggestion from a friend.. Watching TV or counting your chewing.. My friend said 70-90 chews per bite should be good.. Okay, I think I'll pass this one.. hehe..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;6. This problem comes not only late at nights, but also sometimes in the classroom, in front of the tv, at the movie, at friends.. Am I right??&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wonder how I can get rid of them.. actually NOW the right time, where I am trying to shape my body.. hehehe..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here what I found from the net, that I think these are the ones that really fit me.. Maybe these tips can work also on you..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 102, 0);"&gt;1. Eat more small portion meals per Day than 3 large ones..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;** Manage the schedule on your own.. Find recipes or food that can fill your stomach for about 3-4 hours.. **&lt;br /&gt;** try brown bread with cheese, maybe with diet-margarine(NO butter or mayo).. Don't ever skip breakfast&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;** Breakfast is a good way to keep yourself awake in the morning and keep your stomach also for not longing for a small chocholate bar at 9 **&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 102, 0);"&gt;3. Change the snacks..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;** Maybe change chips for carrots or some other green things.. or maybe rice crackers or other crackers, that are not taste too good?? hehe.. **&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;4. Keep water on your side 24/7..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;** Water can keep your stomach full.. but the other hand, you may have to go to the bathroom ofter than you do normally.. **&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;5. Keep your mouth busy..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;** Maybe by chewing gum or back to number 3, keep it busy by eating some other healthy and untasty snacks.. ;&lt;&lt;  **   &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;6. Write your GOAL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;Write down your TARGET weight,&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;the more specific more better, for example; in 3 Months, or until Christmas 2008.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Write it &lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;BIG &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;and &lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;HIGHLIGHT&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; it !!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p  style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(153, 0, 0);font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;2. Write a LIST the THINGs that you w&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;ant to AVOID during your DIET&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul  style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;For example: &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;DON'T Eat chips, junk food&lt;/span&gt;(Cheeseburgers, HotDogs, Fries, etc.)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Or maybe also: &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;DON'T BUY any Clothes until I lose Weight !!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p  style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(153, 0, 0);font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;3. Buy ONLY RAW Food&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;What I mean here is really Raw Vegetables, Meat, Onions, Garlic and Stuffs.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;NOT the "5-10 minutes to Cook"- Products!!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;This can also help you starting to lose some weight, How?&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;            a. You have to cook if you want to eat, and by cooking you would do exercise.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;            b. If you want to eat snack, you would find nothing in your fridge..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;            c. You know the whole cooking things, the chopping the onions, vegetables, meat, and then fry the food and at the end cleaning the kitchen table. And don't forget after you eat you have to wash the dishes and pans.. Those whole things are equal exercise..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;So everytime you're hungry, you have to cook.. And if you are not the cook kinda type you won't have the desire to do the whole things again, right? And if you like to cook, then it is also good, cause everytime you cook you'll burn calories by doing it.. &gt;_&lt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p  style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(153, 0, 0);font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;7. Do little exercise where ever you are...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;For example; while you're watching tv, you could do some hands / foot exercise.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;You can find the exercises on the internet. Very easy !!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;If you are inside a mall or a big building with stairs and elevator, choose always the stairs to go to the next floor.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;Wake up 10 minutes earlier as usual and do some easy exercise, and do it also before you go to bed.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p  style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(153, 0, 0);font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;8. DO the 7 Steps without FAIL in about 1-2 Weeks.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;Those Steps could change you body rhythm little by little, so then if you start your REALLY DIET Program, your body would NOT be shocked and you could easily follow the Program. And there is also a saying, if you want to change one little thing from your life rhythm / one habit of yours the fastest is in two weeks time..&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;After this I would suggest you to find yourself a good DIET program that really fits you....&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;Read Books, articles or maybe find out websites that offers DIET-Programs. Well I have not found any answer for this one. I think it is for yourself to decide which one is better for you...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A page tells that Every body has a flow, a rhythm it follows to keep itself in balance. This applies to sleeping patterns, eating patterns, etc. Therefore, your body works differently at 9 in the morning than it does at 9 at night. Maybe do something else that can abstract your mind from food. Maybe doing puzzle, gaming, write blogs, reading books, or maybe even do some workouts.. I don't know, whatever works for you...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;** &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Some say it would work, but it is not a method to loss weight quickly&lt;/span&gt; and not really good for a long run. Why? If you continue to do this in the long run, it will also notably cause muscle breakdown, which may lead to your fat loss coming to a &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;STOP&lt;/span&gt;. You don't want to sabotage yourself in the long run. Your body does not like trickery and with every wild thing you throw at it, be prepared to feel the homeostatic compensation of your games.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;** &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Some say it is good&lt;/span&gt;, because usualy people eat a real meal at night, and because they  have more spare time they usually add some dessert to it, and don't forget after that some snack for in front of the TV.. The problem is after they go to bed, their body would not really metabolize the food for energy or fuel for the brain and body. Instead, the food will be stored as body fat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then in the morning, they are not hungry for a breakfast thanks to the food last night, go straight to work, and starve them selves for the whole afternoon. At lunch, hungry as hell, grab a large meal, stuffing their bodies with the thought, "Oh, I would not eat anything anymore until later after work, so it's no problem".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Those great meal is roughly equal 10,000 calories, and remember, it's all in just one meal or maybe in just one hour time.. It'll spinn your body and damage the metabolize system inside..&lt;br /&gt;Then it continues again for dinner and on and on.. So, you do the math.. ^_^&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This one is also kinda reasonable for me..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(204, 0, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;For Question 3:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nope, &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;it is NOT good to eat anything before it&lt;/span&gt;, and it is also better &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 0);"&gt;NOT &lt;/span&gt;to eat&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 102, 255);"&gt; &lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 0, 204);"&gt;carbohydrate foods&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;, like pastas, breads, rice, potatoes, etc. It is recomended to take &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 0, 204);"&gt;protein foods&lt;/span&gt;, such as chicken, fish, lean beef, or tofu. And on the side make a salad or fried veggies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Studies show that protein, when eaten earlier in the day, promotes more weight loss in the long run. Additionally,          it lowers your cholesterol, keeps your blood sugar on an even keel and it is the simplest &amp;amp; easiest way to increase or speeding up the body's metabolism– helping your lose weight!!&lt;br /&gt;What kind of food shoud we eat then? Well-balanced and nutritious meals or snacks every three to four hours. &lt;p class="btxt"&gt; The more you present your body with small amounts of food, the faster it becomes at processing and utilizing this food. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="btxt"&gt;Maybe I would write more about this Method later on... I have tried this several time and I noticed, this method worked really good but only for certain time. So if I don't eat dinner 3 days in a row, my weight dropped drastically, but at the 4th day, my weight was not dropped like the past 3 days..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But I think I also did something wrong, I skipped the whole dinner thing, so I didn't eat anything at night. And as I remember, it was little bit like hell for me and pretty hard.. hehe.. The Site comes from Germany, I don't know if it is also available for other countries yet..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As I said before, this Site is great, because they really watch the visitor completely through, where are they from (from which country), the time-visit, the browser-art from the visitor.. It is also included the monthly-diagram, weekly-diagram, hourly diagram, and bunch of other stuffs that I don't even understand what are they for.. ^_°&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As I said, I've just signed up couple of hours ago.. What is actually Fat? And where is the fat actually in my body.. are they just every where? What kind of fat are there actually.. In elementary school we learned about good fat and bad fat, right.. And I want to know more which one is good and which one is the bad one..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After reading those pages it is not that easy to really understand about FAT.. hehe.. They use some words that're really strange, that I don't understand the meaning at all..&lt;br /&gt;Okay.. this is what I get...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0);"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;u&gt;What is Fat?&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;Fats&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;come from our food.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;Fats&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;actual job / purpose is as energy source for our muscles.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;Fats&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;can be SOLID or LIQUID - depends on the temperature&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. There are 2 kinds of &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;Fats&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;- &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Saturated&lt;/span&gt; and &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Unsaturated&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);"&gt;a. Saturated is the BAD boys..&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/u&gt;==&gt; This Fat is SOLID - is found in animal products (fatty cuts of meats, the skin, milk products, etc)&lt;br /&gt;==&gt; Too much of this can caused HEART-Disease or High COLESTEROL..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;==&gt; This may not yet sound so scary... But remember these fats can also be found in BUTTER, CHEESE, Cakes, Biscuits, Crisps, Pastries, and alot more.. What that means? How many is that?? How many calories should I actually eat daily??&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Normal people eat daily 1500 - 2000 calories daily.. So if we eat 2000 calories, the precentage for FAT would be around 73 grams, and for 1500 calories would 55 grams.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now if you want it accurate, you should pay attention for the number of grams on every product and calculate each day from what you eat.. Right this moment I am totally not satisfied with my body.. I am a little bit puffy, well I add couple of pounds lately because most of the time I just sit behind my desk..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Couple of years ago I did couple of diets, it worked but I didn't understand really how to keep maintain my ideal weight.. I just trying everything and gambling on everything.. But NOW I really want to know exactly what is actually fat, where is the fat in my body, how to absolutely lose all of it and not gaining weight again.. ever.. hehehe..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So.. starting now I would like to write my journey here and give here my feedback, so I can monitor how am I doing it until I get my dream weight... I hope I wouldn't get bored in the middle and stopp the whole thing...
